MN Child Support Online is an interactive web site developed by the State of Minnesota to provide child support participants and employers with direct activity and financial information about their case(s).
Hennepin County aims to enhance the well-being of children by assuring that assistance in obtaining support, including financial and medical, is available to children through locating parents, establishing paternity, establishing support obligations, and monitoring and enforcing those obligations.
Services are available for Hennepin County residents or those with a Hennepin County court order.
Services we provide:
- Locating parents
- Establishing parentage
- Establishing and enforcing court orders for child support, medical support, and child care support
- Adjusting court orders based on the cost-of -living index
- Working with other states to enforce support when one parent does not live in Minnesota
- Collecting and processing payments
We do not provide: Legal advice or counsel, legal separation and divorce, visitation or custody, spousal maintenance, or collection of unpaid bills.

To apply for Child Support Services in Hennepin County, you must be a resident of Hennepin County or have a Hennepin County court order. If you want Hennepin County to collect support by automatic income withholding, you must apply for services.
