The Ryan White Unit administers Part A Ryan White funds for the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan Area. Part A of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act of 2006 provides emergency assistance to Transitional Grant Areas (TGAs) that are most severely affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
The Unit has two components: Ryan White Administration and staff supports the Minnesota HIV Services Planning Council. Administration manages the grant.
