Hennepin County housing staff is evaluating data to determine areas of highest foreclosure impact and greatest need for utilization of anticipated federal funding from the new Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) to address the nationwide foreclosure epidemic. The federal government has allocated approximately $3.9 million to Hennepin County and $5.6 million to Minneapolis from the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 (HERA).
